APPARATUS, CREATOR OF SENSATIONAL LIGHTING WITH VINTAGE COMPONENTS

Founded in 2012 by Gabriel Hendifar and Jeremy Anderson, Apparatus is a devices lighting design studio based in New York. Strong of its success and still in growth, the brand has branches in Los Angeles and Milan. 

With a particular taste for sculptural shapes and the mix of noble materials like brass, glass marble, leather and porcelain, the lightings, furnitures and accessories of Apparatus are not like others, elegant and robust.

Gabriel Hendifar Apparatus’ artistic director, who used to work in the fashion industry and design interior has for ambition to design and manufacture collections with warm and timeless atmosphere. 

Jeremy Anderson him, use his potter experience and his traveler state of mind in the service of the brand, by notably taking care of the supervision of the production.

Furthermore the brand is very involved in the quality and the colors of the light produced by its lighting. Indeed, it’s for provide stunning lights that the studio experiencing new LED and halogen models.

FOCUS ON ACT III COLLECTION 

Act III is the first collection of Apparatus that is inspired by the personal cultural history of one of the founder, Gabriel Hendifar. 

The genesis of Act III is a box inherited from Gabriel Hendifar’ grandma, she brought the box from Iran to America in 1979 as political refugee.

This collection represents for him the tangible and family link he has with Iran.
